What is Take Five?

Take Five is a national awareness campaign that offers straightforward and impartial advice to help everyone protect themselves against preventable financial fraud. It’s led by UK Finance and backed by the government.

Follow the Stop, Challenge, Protect guidance below to help keep your money and info safe:

Stop: Simply taking a moment to stop and think before parting with your money or info could keep you safe.

Challenge: Could it be fake? It’s ok to reject, refuse or ignore any requests. Only criminals will try to rush or panic you.

Protect: Contact us right away if you think you’ve been scammed.

You should also report it to Action Fraud,  the UK national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime.
