Can I open a joint savings account?

Yes two people can open an account together, except with ISA accounts which can only be opened in a sole name. We’ll ask if you want the account to be in joint names at the start of the application.

With joint accounts we assume each account holder owns an equal share of the money in the account. Both account holders are jointly liable for the account but we’ll act on instructions from either account holder.

You’ll each receive an individual User ID and password to access your joint account online.
