Criminals will try and trick you into sharing your personal or financial info. They do this by impersonating a company’s real phone number or sending a fake text. They’ll change the caller ID to disguise their identity. Then, they’ll use a real organisation’s number, like ours, to try and trick you.
If they do this with a text, it’ll show up in your text history with the company’s name, even though it’s a scam text.
If you receive a call that doesn’t seem right, hang up immediately. You can phone the genuine company using the number on their website to check it was them calling you. If it’s a text you’re suspicious of, don’t reply.
If you think you may have been a victim of fraud, contact us immediately.
