First ensure that your device supports Google Wallet. You need an Android device with Lollipop 5.0 and above.
It’s also important to ensure that:
- Your account is up to date and not in arrears
- You’re not exceeding your credit limit
- Your card is in date and has not expired
If you try to add a card which is not being managed well or has an incorrect expiry date, the request will be rejected.
Here are a few other scenarios which could stop you from adding your card:
- Not having an available signal when the registration attempt was made
- Entering an incorrect One Time Passcode
- Attempting to use a One Time Passcode that had expired
