Why have you reduced my credit limit?

Your credit limit may have gone down because you didn’t meet the account terms and conditions.

To be eligible to increase it again, you must pay the required amount (shown on your statement) by the due date. This applies to both your Vanquis card and any other credit accounts you hold.

You need enough available credit for any monthly interest and potential fees. We access info from credit reference agencies (CRAs) to help work out a credit limit amount that is affordable for you. These agencies take various factors into account when calculating your credit score. If you want guidance on improving your score, we’d suggest contacting them directly.

You can check your credit score for free with the Snoop app.
