What is Vanquis Rewards cashback and how do I activate it?

As part of the Vanquis Rewards programme, you can earn cashback when you spend at participating retailers using your linked Vanquis Visa Credit Card.

Your cashback can be earned and paid to your credit card, you can trade up for an e-Gift Card or if you’d like, you can donate it to charity.

Just so you’re aware, this service is only available through the Vanquis app.

To activate Vanquis Rewards and start earning cashback, head to the offers tab in our app. All it takes is one tap – nice and simple. Then…

  • Spend at participating retailers using your linked Vanquis card
  • Cashback is automatically added
  • Redeem the cashback in one of 3 ways – trade up for an eGift Card, pay it to your credit card or donate to charity

To start earning cashback, simply browse the available offers in the ‘Earn’ tab, check the retailer’s terms and conditions and make your purchase using your linked Vanquis Visa Credit Card. If you pay another way (for example, with PayPal), or buy the same product from a different retailer, you won’t get cashback.

We use your shopping preferences and purchase history to send you personalised offers. That means you might get different offers to your friends and family.

These personalised offers have set timeframes, and you can only earn cashback between the dates shown in the offer. Some offers are available in store and online – but this varies, so be sure to check the offer terms.

You can see your cashback balance, statements, offers and transactions in the app. It can take up to 5 working days from the transaction date for the cashback to show in your pending cashback balance. It’ll stay as pending for 35 days until it clears, then automatically move to your available cashback balance. It might be a bit longer for some cashback – the terms and conditions for the offer you’re using will explain the details.

To see which card you have linked to Vanquis Rewards cashback, tap the settings icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and go to ‘Linked cards’. Please note, additional cardholders aren’t eligible to earn cashback with Vanquis Rewards.
