Do I need to activate a new card? 

Jump to the Manage card screen.

Most new cards are ready to use as soon as you are approved, and you can start using your card online and add it to a digital wallet before your physical card arrives.

Simply open the app:

  • Tap ‘Manage card’ on the home screen

Follow the on screen instructions to view your full card details or to add it to a digital wallet.

If activation is required you will see this in the App. If you don’t have the option to activate in the app you can activate your card 24/7 by calling 0800 781 9660. Just make sure you have your card handy.

What next?
• Sign the back of your card on the white strip.
• Use your PIN for your first face-to-face purchase, before going contactless.
If your old card was lost or stolen, you’ll have a new account number. If so, you’ll need to:

• Identify any bills you pay automatically using this card. Then, update your card details with the merchant, retailer or service provider.
• Update your card details if saved with online retailers, such as PayPal and eBay.

Note: if your old card was replaced due to it being damaged or it had expired, it won’t need to be activated.
