I think I've been a victim of fraud.  What should I do?

If your Vanquis card has been affected, we can help.

If you’ve spotted a transaction you don’t recognise, you can report it in the app.  From the home screen:

  • Tap ‘Transactions and statements’ find the transaction
  • Tap on it to see more details. From there, you’ll have the option to get more help and if something still doesn’t look right, you’ll be able to report an issue

Jump to the Transaction screen.

If a non-Vanquis credit or debit card was affected, contact your card provider and tell them you’ve become a victim of fraud. You can do this using the number found on the back of your card or on their website.

You can also contact Victim Support . They’re an independent charity that helps people affected by crime.

If you think you’ve been a victim of fraud, then report it to Report Fraud and/or your local police station. They’ll provide you with a crime reference number.  If you’re reporting fraud to Vanquis we may need the crime reference number for your claim.

If you would prefer to speak to us please reach out.
