What is Vanquis Rewards cashback?
As part of Vanquis Rewards, you can earn cashback when you spend at participating retailers using your linked Vanquis Credit Card. It’s a great little bonus when you shop.
Your cashback can be earned and paid to your credit card, you can trade up for an e-Gift Card or if you’d like, you can donate it to charity. The choice is yours.
To be eligible, all you need to do is use the Vanquis app and manage your credit card responsibly (there’s more on that in the terms and conditions below).
How to activate Vanquis Rewards
To activate Vanquis Rewards and start earning cashback, head to the offers tab in our app. All it takes is one tap – nice and simple. Then…
- Spend at participating retailers using your Vanquis card
- Cashback is automatically added (this can take up to 90 days, depending on the offer and retailer)
- Redeem the cashback in one of 3 ways - trade up for an eGift Card, pay it to your credit card or donate to charity

How to see your offers and earn cashback
If you opted to receive marketing communications for cashback when activating Vanquis Rewards, we’ll send you your top offers. And you can always find all your cashback offers at any time in our new mobile app.
To start earning cashback, simply browse the available offers in the ‘Earn’ tab, check the retailer’s terms and conditions and make your purchase using your Vanquis Credit Card. If you pay another way (for example, with PayPal), or buy the same product from a different retailer, you won’t get cashback.
To see which card you have linked to Vanquis Rewards cashback, tap the settings icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and go to ‘Linked cards’. Please note, additional cardholders aren’t eligible to earn cashback with Vanquis Rewards.
How to redeem cashback
Once you’ve earned any cashback, you can redeem it to your credit card, donate the money to charity or trade up for an e-Gift Card. Just so you know, there’s a maximum limit of £500 per transaction when you redeem your cashback.
For e-Gift Cards, retailers set minimum cashback limits. You’ll see these in the trade up terms for each retailer.
To redeem cashback to your Vanquis Credit Card:
- Tap ‘Redeem’, then ‘Pay to card’
- Select the Vanquis card you’d like to redeem to
- Choose how much cashback you want to redeem
Please note, redemptions made to your credit card won’t go towards your minimum payment due – they’ll only reduce your credit card balance.
To trade up your cashback for an e-Gift Card:
- Tap ‘Redeem’, then ‘Trade up’
- Choose from a selection of e-Gift Cards
The e-Gift Card will appear in your e-code wallet shortly after you select it.
To donate to charity:
- Tap ‘Redeem’, then ‘Donate’ to choose the amount and the charity
You can choose from a list of charities and the money will reach them within 30 days.
If some or all your transaction is refunded, you won’t get cashback on the refunded amount. Your cashback might also be delayed while our partners Visa check any returns.
