Credit intermediaries

A credit intermediary, sometimes also called a credit broker, is a company that helps people access credit, like a credit card, and introduces them to potential lenders by collecting their information for an application, and/or finding out if they might be eligible for credit from potential lenders.

Most credit intermediaries will be authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to do so, or they may be an Appointed Representative of another FCA authorised firm. You can check the FCA register to check their status on the FCA’s website. 

Below, we’ve listed all the credit intermediaries we use that may introduce you to us to make a Vanquis application.

We will normally make a payment to the intermediary who introduced you to us if your application is successful, which will be a fixed fee. The amount we pay for your introduction does not affect the amount of interest or charges you pay to us, but it may vary depending on the type of credit card product you apply for. If you want to know more, please ask us or the intermediary who introduced you to us, before entering into the agreement.
