Changing your contact details

It’s easy to update your phone number or email address in the Vanquis app.

  • Tap the ‘More’ menu
  • Tap ‘My contact details’
  • Tap the pencil icon to make your changes

The quickest way to update your details is in the app. But you can also do it by calling us on 0330 099 3000*.

Are you a savings customer? Log in to your secure online portal to update your contact details.

Changing your address

Head to the Vanquis app to update your address – it’s nice and simple.

If we’ve asked you for proof of address, check out which documents we can accept below.

If we ask you for proof of identity (there’s more on this further down the page) as well as address, you’ll need to provide a separate document for each.

Certified documents

If we ask you for a certified copy of a document, it needs to be signed and dated by a professional and include their full name, contact details and professional registration number (if applicable).

Here’s a list of people who can certify a document:

  • teacher
  • solicitor
  • accountant
  • bank official
  • police officer
  • post office clerk
  • civil servant
  • council official

Acceptable proof of address documents

Bank or Building Society Statement

Original bank or building society statement or an in-branch printed statement stamped by the bank – dated within the last 3 months.

A photocopy or photo of your current UK driving licence.

Your original council tax bill – dated within the current year.

Your original HM Revenue & Customs tax notification letter – dated within the last 3 months.

Your original gas, electric or landline telephone postal bill – dated within the last 3 months.

Your original Pension Services – State Pension statement – dated within the current year

Your original Department for Work & Pensions benefits entitlement letter – dated within the last 3 months.

An original solicitors or conveyancing letter on headed paper – dated within the last 3 months (from the date the property purchase was confirmed)

A signed copy of local authority rent card, rent book or tenancy agreement – dated within the current year.

Power of Attorney document or Court of Protection Order. Stamped by the Office of Public Guardian (OPG) or the Court

Household or contents insurance policy – dated within the last 12 months.

Mortgage statement – dated within the last 12 months.

Written reference from a serving Commanding Officer of the Armed Forces – within the last 3 months.

Changing your name

To update your name on your Vanquis credit card account, we’ll need some documents to confirm the change. You can use:
